The truck wouldn't start and I was to meet Dick.  So the Wilkins came over and we put my kayak on the Highlander.  We found lots of large clams at one stop.  It was a beautiful paddle!

I guess the river makes me happy!

Kayaking - Buffalo River-Grimes with Boy Scouts

This paddle was with Boy Scout Troop 125.  We had some experienced paddlers and some new paddlers.  The first day is 13 miles and the second day is 7 miles.  It is always a fantastic weekend with lots of laughs, lots of swimming stops, and good memories.  This year Richie and Elizabeth paddled together and got very tired, some of their paddling was goofing around and sometimes they stood up.  They ended up going home with Bob and Maribeth that first night.  The boys always cook good food at night, and then on the way home, a favorite stop is Sonic!  We slept in platform tents and even though I'm not a camper, I always sleep well on this trip! :)
