We checked into Gasthof Simony on evening of September 7 and left on the 9th. We toured Hallstatt on September 8.

The roads were very twisty and sometimes narrow
getting to Hallstatt - totally worth it!

Every morning we could hear deliveries being made with rolling carts. |

Before dinner, we walked around Hallstatt - one of the
most beautiful places I have ever been!

The village is built right into the high cliffs lining
the lake. There are some narrow, steep walks going up to the homes. |
