Average Speed 2.5 mph, 2 hours 26 Minutes Paddling Time
A beautiful sunny Sunday, so a perfect day for kayaking. We headed to Kentucky Lake as we had never been there. We put in at Paris Landing State Park and paddled south, then across the river and back up north. We saw many birds out in the lake. Also, there are the remnants of an old road that went across this bay still out in the water. For this blog, I thought I'd put a list of the basic gear we take when kayaking for a day:
