Reunion - Illesheim Gang at Helen, Georgia

 Off for a nice hike to Anna Ruby Falls.  Not too difficult, the literature said.  EXCEPT, the road was closed and we couldn't drive up to the entrance.  So we had to make a long hike to the trail.  Then the trail was washed out in several places and we had to go across streams.  It was long, strenuous, steep, and HARD.  But, the waterfalls were nice, and the company was even better.

Hiking - Amicalola Falls West Ridge

We were headed over to Helen, Georgia for an Illesheim Reunion.  Along the way, we stopped in Dawsonville, Georgia to do this hike.  It's part of the Appalachian Trail and is a pretty steep hike.  We went up the steps to the waterfalls, which are stunning.  We came down the dirt path.

We made it to Helen and found these crazy people!
