Camping/Kayaking 7/25 -at Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area

Camping/Kayaking at Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.        4.9 miles kayaking

We got to the campground mid-afternoon and set up our camp.  We had to drive down river to find an access point into the river.  We kayaked a few miles up the river and then turned around to get back to our truck.  This river is between the New Jersey and Pennsylvania border.  When we finished, we realized that we'd have to get back on a toll road and go across the river to find a place to eat.  We found a nice restaurant and ate out on the balcony.  When we got back to our campsite, we realized that the restaurant was across from our campground.

These photos below are from the next morning when we were leaving our campsite.  This road runs parallel to the row of tent sites and this bear was walking away from the tent sites!! I'm glad we saw him on the way out of the campsite!!
