Chase Crew -Albuquerque International Balloon Festival - Sunday 10/6/19

Albuquerque International Balloon Festival - Sunday 10/6/19

Sunday came and there were beautiful, blue skies.  Hundreds of balloons were sent into the sky.  Words just can't explain the excitement that filled the field.  It was just so gorgeous as the multi-colored balloons rose into the sky.  Part of the fun was just stopping to listen to the crowd as 'oohs' and 'aahs' occurred every time a balloon was filled and eventually lifted.  After the balloon lifts off, the crews' jobs are not finished as we now jump into the truck and follow the balloon's path through Albuquerque, where ever that may be.
The balloon travelled south, probably no more than 5 miles and landed in the backyard of a rather large home.  The passengers were two people from out of town that had paid for a balloon ride.  We packed up the balloon and kept with tradition, which is to open a bottle of champagne and toast to a successful ride.
