Rudy once again had a wonderful German breakfast for us with meat, cheese, and rolls. We drove up to blank concern and Scotty wanted to see if there was still a Usareur Boy Scout store there, but no luck. We drove around a few of the outlying villages around Bad Windsheim. What great memories this little drive sparked. For lunch, Rudy made rouladen, spaetzle and a green salad. We then walked over to Sepp and Traudle’s house. We had such an absolutely great visit catching up with them. What always tickles me is when we have conversations here in Germany. Our German is definitely lacking after all these years and Sepp and Traudl said they don’t speak English as much anymore either. But we talked and talked as friendship overcame the language barriers. In true German fashion, Traudle brought out a plate of cake and offered us drinks. We walked again to the middle of Bad Windsheim as we felt like we had had a lot to eat today and we did.
