Flying Nashville to Lisbon

Today was a day of travel. Scotty’s friend, Frank drove us to Nashville international and thanks to our Priority Pass card, we were able to eat dinner there. Nothing spectacular, but it did help pass the time. Nashville has a new international flight leaving from there, and arriving in London at Heathrow International. We flew world traveler plus, and it was definitely a step up from the last time we flew overseas. The seats were bigger and we seemed to have better service. We both got intermittent sleep. When we got to Heathrow we found a lounge and the fun part there was meeting different British people who struck up conversations with us. One family of seven was traveling to New York City, spending a few days there and then going on a cruise. Another dad was there taking his two kids to New York City to tour around.

Our flight from Heathrow to Lisbon was a bitvdelayed, but uneventful. The Lisbon airport is very basic, but we  got through quickly.  We took an Uber to Holiday Inn Express and were very happy to unpack a few things, check tomorrow’s weather, look at a Lisbon map. We were in bed by 9(Scotty) and 10(me). We have gotten very little sleep and are happy to be in a bed!

Our first view of Lisbon

Small, but efficient.

The teal reason we like traveling to Europe - the European breakfasts!!
