On our drive today, we stopped at Stara Pošta, a restaurant recommended by Nicole, a docent we met on Thacher Island. She has relatives who run the place, but unfortunately they weren’t there. The fortunate part was that we still enjoyed an excellent meal. Scotty ordered grilled carbonara, while I had a classic Wiener schnitzel, paired perfectly with two refreshing lemon Radlers.
From there, we continued on to our next Airbnb, located just below the town of Motovun, with a stunning view of the hilltop city. As soon as we arrived, we headed up to Motovun to wander through its narrow streets and take in the sweeping views from above. We ended the day simply, but perfectly, with an ice cream cone each.
