What an interesting village this was! It claims to have about 40 inhabitants, which seems reasonable since most of the structures are either crumbling or abandoned. Many are covered in ivy, and in some places we could even see straight through the windows to the bright blue sky above. We loved wandering through its quiet streets. The only other people we saw were a couple who looked like they were there for birdwatching.
This village is definitely off the beaten path—reachable only by car—which made it feel even more special. To top it off, as we were leaving, we came across two farmers crushing grapes. They kindly let me take their picture, and one of them even handed us a bunch of grapes to taste. It was a moment that made the visit unforgettable.
