He drove about 5 1/2 hours to get to Hickory run State Park. The sites here were close together and they were a few trees in our loop D. The Site was perfectly level so he didn’t have to unhook the truck which was a great advantage. We weren’t there long before the rain came down for dinner. We had pancakes and bacon and eggs. We slept really well and the next morning we were able to get out by 8:30. Tomorrow will be our last drive of our Summer 2025 adventure. It’s been a GREAT trip!
